ablehnen, zurückweisen, nicht akzeptieren, nicht annehmen

Das Verb "ablehnen" bedeutet, dass man etwas nicht akzeptiert oder annimmt, sei es ein Angebot, eine Idee oder eine Einladung. Es drückt aus, dass man mit etwas nicht einverstanden ist oder es nicht möchte. Zum Beispiel kann man ein Geschenk ablehnen, wenn man es nicht annehmen möchte.
