Das Wort "Original" bezieht sich auf etwas, das in seiner ersten oder authentischen Form existiert, ohne Kopien oder Veränderungen. Es kann sich auf ein Kunstwerk, ein Dokument oder eine Idee beziehen, die als Ausgangspunkt dient. Wenn man zum Beispiel von einem Gemälde spricht, ist das Original das vom Künstler selbst geschaffene Werk, im Gegensatz zu Reproduktionen oder Kopien.
