reptile

Last Saturday I went to the small city zoo and spent a long time at the reptile house . I stood by the glass for twenty minutes , watching a green lizard slowly turn its head and bask under a warm lamp . Although it looked calm , I learned that these animals need precise temperature control to stay healthy . If I had more space at home , I would consider keeping a similar pet , but for now photos and books are enough . The enclosures were clean and well maintained , so the whole visit felt pleasant .
