crust

Last evening I baked a small loaf of bread for myself . While it was baking I was reading a book in the kitchen and the warm smell made me happy . When the bread cooled I cut a slice and ate the soft inside first , then I tried the crust , which was crispy . I have been learning to bake because I think homemade food might taste fresher than store - bought . If I keep practicing , I will make an even nicer crust next time .
